Founded in 2004 by friends Osa and Jen, Vibe Jewelry was born in the heart of the U.S. Virgin Islands from a shared love of jewelry and the Caribbean lifestyle. Inspired by St. John's natural beauty, rich culture, and laid-back energy, they created pieces that capture the feeling of paradise and the connection people feel to it. We are women-owned and operated and support causes close to our hearts, from our home on St. John and well beyond.
Every Vibe Jewelry piece is dreamed up on St. John and handcrafted in 14K solid gold and sterling silver by skilled silversmiths, meant to be worn for a lifetime.
We met in 1992 on St. Thomas, selling jewelry side-by-side at an open-air market. Ten-hour days under the Caribbean sun, and an instant friendship over a shared love of beautiful things and the people who'd wear them.
Both of us felt drawn to St. John. The pace, the light, the way strangers become family, and the sunsets that melt your stress away. We wanted to capture that feeling. Vibe Jewelry was born in 2004 at a tiny store on St. John we lovingly called 'the bathtub' for the leaks that appeared every time it rained. We stayed open anyway. We were home.
More than twenty years later and now operating two larger (and drier) stores, we're still designing every piece on St. John, still inspired by the land, sea, and culture all around us, and still grateful for every customer who carries a piece of our jewelry, and this island, into their life.

St. John is the smallest of the three main U.S. Virgin Islands. No stoplight, no chain restaurant, no airport. You take a ferry, and the pace shifts before you ever step off the boat.
More than two-thirds of the island is protected national park, the surrounding reefs are safeguarded, and the beaches look the way Caribbean beaches looked before anyone thought to build a resort on them.
This little island is our home, our inspiration, and where every piece of Vibe Jewelry is dreamed up.
At the heart of every design is our petroglyph logo. This symbol is deeply connected to the spirit of St. John. Inspired by the ancient rock carvings found in Reef Bay, these petroglyphs were created over 1,000 years ago by the indigenous Taino people and remain one of the island's most treasured symbols.
The legend of the hook bracelet originates in the Caribbean as an old fisherman's tale.
The tradition continues today; wear your hook bracelet facing your heart to lock in your love with a person or place. Face it outwards and manifest new meaningful bonds your way!
We work with 14K solid gold and solid sterling silver. No plating, no fillers, no shortcuts. Just heirloom-quality metals chosen for everyday wear, meaningful milestones, and the kind of pieces you'll want to pass down.
Our sterling silver pieces are finished with rhodium, a precious-metal coating that adds brightness, depth, and lasting protection against the salt, sun, and sea spray of island life.
Every Vibe piece is handcrafted by skilled silversmiths. From the first cast to the final polish, each one passes through trained hands at every step. Hammered, soldered, set, sanded, polished, and finished one at a time.
Our designs draw inspiration from the world around us: ocean movement, natural erosion, the textures of reefs and sea-tumbled stone. The finishes you see, smooth and reflective, rugged and weathered, lightly hammered or deeply textured, all come from techniques refined through years at the bench.
Behind every piece is a small community of master silversmiths who work exclusively with us, carrying forward a craft tradition passed down through generations. We know these artisans by name, we visit them where they work, and we're proud of the relationship we've build.
As a women-owned business, we are passionate about empowering women, supporting our local community, and giving back to the island that continues to inspire us every day.
From protecting the national park and reefs, to sponsoring students' education, and empowering at-risk youth across the USVI, we partner with mission-driven organizations that show up for the island every day.

Living on a nine-mile island, we see the effects of a changing climate up close. We help protect the national park, reefs, and beaches, cut waste wherever we can, and partner with local organizations working to keep our home pristine.
